President Vučić and Ambassador Marsico agreed that the traditional friendship, mutual understanding and mutual commitment to respect the principles of international law are a solid basis for Serbia and Argentina to intensify political dialogue and strengthen economic cooperation, as well as any other cooperation of mutual interest.

On this occasion, President Vučić thanked Argentina for its principled position to respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.

Ambassador Marsico reaffirmed Argentina's strong support for Serbia on the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and its commitment to the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244.

Ambassador Marsico said that he was impressed by the economic results achieved by Serbia and that they would be happy to apply our experiences and advices in Argentina. Opportunities for cooperation in agriculture, food industry, energy and other areas were discussed on this occasion.
